Last year in the much talked about film Jai Bhim,portrayed how Irular adivasis are continuously exploited by the other communities & those in power. Irulars reside in Mannarkkad hills on both sides of Tamil Nadu & Kerala,have been living in close proximity to forests since ages.

Even now,for most of the adivasi students,education is still a distant dream. Many adivasi students still struggle to get scholarships offered by the government. Are such scholarships or schemes really meant for the benefit adivasi students or is it just a vague promise?
