Ecaterina Leonova (@uva_api) found some Lyman alpha lines in the early universe. The results support the theory that the first ionized bubbles formed in overdense regions.

Bharat Kumar Gehlot (@KapteynAstro) uses @LOFAR to search for the 21cm-line (hydrogen) in the very early universe. He compares it to finding a needle in a haystack. But after his presentation it more looks like finding a specific piece of hay in a haystack.
