Our paper got rejected by a journal because the reviewers felt we used a sub standard comparator arm. The NCCN guidelines recommends the comparator arm as a standard of care (level 1) and this is most widely used in LMIC. Is the NCCN recommending sub standard regimens? #ASCO23

Today is #WorldLungCancerDay! IARC estimates #LungCancer to be the 2nd most common cancer in the 🌏, accounting for approx 1 in 8 of all cancer cases. The risk of lung cancer is 20-25 times as high in men and women who smoke compared to those who do not smoke.
