Trump implementing the SBR through an E.O. is not without historical precedent The infamous 6102 by FDR, which made it illegal for Americans to own gold, was also issued via E.O. in 1933 It was not until 1934 that Congress reinforced the policy through the Gold Reserve Act

94 countries have loans with the IMF. All those countries were just sent a message that they can’t buy Bitcoin. This is why after 2021 no other countries followed El Salvador, SOMETHING stopped the momentum. We now have a pretty good idea who was behind that.

Bitcoiners completely underestimated the altcoin lobby. The original SBR was supposed to be Bitcoin-only, but Ripple (and likely ADA and SOL) stopped it in its tracks. This is an area we need to improve—or not, since Bitcoin will win anyway.
