If you are an athletic director, treat your strength and conditioning dept like you do athletic training. Hire people and let them do their job. Coaches don’t walk in the athletic training room and dictate treatments. Why do they get to try to dictate to strength and conditioning

I still don’t understand why some sports train so early in the morning. Surprise, surprise - early morning training is associated with poorer sleep quality & shorter sleep duration in student-athletes.

“High school strength coaches aren’t as good at their job as college and pro strength coaches.” Listen. The more athletic a person is the easier they are to train. Try getting a kid faster who doesn’t even know he’s supposed to swing his arms while running.
