Narcissists get so mad when you cry because they use crying as a tool to manipulate you. So when you actually show genuine emotion or even cry they believe it is because you are manipulating them.

Narcissists look at other people as tools, pawns, or toys. If they can use you to their benefit, pin you against someone else or play with you when they’re bored you’re a “good friend”.
