Has it recently happened that a country had a head of state that was loved or respected by a majority of people? That people supported his controversial positions because they simply trust him? That people were satisfied with their head of state without any lies or tricks?
@_RustyRooster Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador. Won reelection with 85% of the votes. Known for putting criminals in prison. (Experts baffled by the popularity of this policy)
@_RustyRooster Ye, Salvador's Bukele probably fits that description best.
@_RustyRooster I think this happens with heads of state, though not heads of government. Most of the European monarchies have heads of state who are respected by the people. But to have a head of government who is trusted and respected that way is rare.
@_RustyRooster He (@SwissBankingJew) gave a good one: El Salvador. He's very popular despite the Western media labelling him a dictator. He's very strict on crime. Another example not well-known is #China: people are actually, on the whole, happy with their leadership.
@_RustyRooster Bangladesh has a smart & gentle dictator atm. Interesting story.
