A typical champion is somewhere between 30 and 35 to SP+. That is, they’d be favored on a neutral field by ~32 against an avg FBS team. Michigan State’s best team since 1970 was 2014 and ended at ~24, meaning they’d be more than a TD dog against a typical champ.
