I applaud all women fighting their respective battles, no matter how big or small. Life is a journey and I have certainly had a challenging one! Words cannot express how much love I have for my family and friends who have shown unconditional love and support.

This is a battle so much bigger than my case though. It’s one battle in a huge war. Abuse is prevalent in the Arts, there are huge gaps in legislation and there is a vast amount of misconduct and negligence within the police force. It’s an uphill struggle.

I was diagnosed with PTSD and a side effect was hair loss. Brushing would pull chunks of hair out and I would find hair on my pillow and around my flat on a daily basis, just like the one in the photo. At its worst, it was only an inch or two long in places…

Homophobic slurs are NEVER ok. Homophobic slurs aren’t ok in the theatre just because we’ve touched on the subject in the show. On top of this, NOTHING is ok to say in the QUIET pause that an actor is taking. A disgusting member of the audience tonight. Do better.
