Anybody else have live timing be 4 laps behind live during the grand prix in @f1multiviewer for the #ItalianGP even after a complete restart??

This, again, is a guideline for the overtaking car. He must allow the other car to stay on track. He can't push him off to make him shortcut the turn. That's why it says "must be capable of" rather than "must stay on the track".

I hope Lando gives Oscar the position. Would mean Lewis wins the race. Team orders to change the winner are forbidden, so McLaren would be DQ'd.

This is going to confuse every team on the grid in 2023... 2023 regulations art 5.4 mentions an Apx 10... Except it doesn't exist in the 2023 regulations. Instead, what WAS Art 30.5 Apx 10 in 2022 April 29th Sporting Regs revision is now in the body of 2023. #ConfusingFIA

But you're assuming the extra money went into car development. If Newey earns 15 million, but 10 million goes towards participation in other RBR projects like concept cars, and FIA says those 10m are also relevant costs making him excempt, then it didn't.

Yeah, because reducing the 2021 points somehow makes the '23 car 0.5s slower. The '21 car wasn't under budget cap mostly, the '22 car is. That's why it was introduced in '21. To have the '22 regs fall completely under the cap.

The Gasly incident shows two things: 1. The FIA needs to stop sending out vehicles before the track is empty in poor visibility conditions. 2. Drivers need to respect flags. Red Flag means slow the f down. Yellow flag means slow the f down. White flag means slow f car on track.

And there we go... No matter what the FIA says now, anything short of Max losing the '21 title is now the FIA simply helping RBR out, and not applying the 'correct' penalties.

Here's what might happen today with the #costcap in @F1 : RBR either found to be in material, minor, or procedural breach. Here's what definitely will happen: #CultLH gets their knickers in a bunch over the beneficial treatment of RBR over other teams.
