Just a few months ago I literally had to explain to Republican members of Congress how periods work. Their complete and utter incompetence is now killing women and pregnant people across the US. There remains no legitimate grounding or basis to force birth in the United States.

as a social worker who works in foster care, i have seen the HORRIBLE conditions unwanted children have to endure. i hope all of the judges who voted to overturn roe v. wade drop. and i don’t just mean to the ground.

i’m so tired of abortion rights being framed around truly tragic circumstances like assault and incest. if you get pregnant & you don’t want to be pregnant, it is your right over your own body that is under siege. no one, including a fetus, can use your body against your consent.

In Florida employers are not required to give any paid maternity leave. Let that sink in. You give birth and have no job security , you have ZERO pay, while you also have to take care and support a new born child. Lawmakers are pro life but not pro supporting the life.
