A home World Cup is always special, as we saw in the men’s 2023 edition. India are not the outright favorites, but as we saw in 2023, the best team doesn’t necessarily always win. Hopefully, the next one month is as special as the 2023 WC was, with a better climax!

One of the great wins in Indian test history. Siraj & Prasidh, what an incredible performance. To carry this 3-man bowling attack and deliver this when they needed 80 runs with 7 wickets in hand. Siraj, you’ll go down in Indian cricket history as one of the legends!

You cannot rely on 3 bowlers to do the job across 2 innings in a 5th test of a 5 match series. Gambhir & Gill have just not picked enough bowlers. They just haven’t looked to win - it’s always been a mindset to just drag & survive games.

Great comeback from India after the early blitz from England today. Good to see Jaiswal back in the runs, hopefully he can just continue chipping away. Tame end to a career-best series for KL, but still well played. High class batting against the new ball through the series.

Typical defensive selection as expected. Excited to see Jurel get an opportunity, though. While the wicket won’t be easy initially, I think India’s best chance to win would be to bat first.
