Can't sleep. I have one more week of little h at home with me, then she's off to start school. I'm so very sad to lose my precious days with her, but so excited for her to learn all the things she wants to. Parenthood is such a rollercoaster of emotions & it's so hard.

Need to purchase a new vacuum cleaner as my Dyson that's a good 10 years old, is no longer fulfilling it's purpose in my life. I'm thinking I'd like a bagged vacuum this time, so recommendations for something that can do laminate/vinyl and carpet please 🙂

Little h was four (yes, four, WTF?!) yesterday, so today we had 7 small children and three babies at our house for a party. It has been an excellent day and everyone is exhausted. Birthdays are ace when you're four ♥️♥️

Excitingly, this week I've booked to have our @Shitlawns artificial grass removed and replaced with proper grass. The front shit lawn is also being replaced with a raised bed for lots of flowers and good things for the insects surrounded by pebbles. Roll on September.

Didn't go to bed early. He's currently nervously pacing in the kitchen and randomly washing bits of crockery left from dinner, I'm under a sleeping baby and getting shirty with the @VANS_Europe website as it won't let me place an order and the toddler needs sparkly shoes.

The baby has a clean nappy & is fed but just screamed her tiny, angry head off the entire time I was in the world's smallest shop trying to buy a new pair of running shoes, so I can lose the additional weight said baby has left me with. It was so loud it echoed & people stared 😐

Tomorrow I get the email to tell me which school little h is going to. I am absolutely not prepared to face the fact that my baby (who isn't four until July) is big enough for school. I have all the feelings tonight, and I'm going to appease them by eating a bag of munchies.
