Saturday Selections 🐎 American Gal - 14/1 (0.5 Points EW) Dunkeld Dreamer - 5/2 (2 Point Win) Volterra - 9/2 (0.75 Points EW) Balmoral Lady - 13/2 (0.75 Points EW) Red Tsarina - 11/10 (3 Point NAP) American Gal (2:25 Sandown) - well regarded by Walker, and a runner in the Prix Diane earlier this season. Didn’t stay that trip; but a return to 1m at Ascot last time out brought about heaps of improvement. Cajole back behind her in fifth, after this filly almost made all. Each way chance. Dunkeld Dreamer (3:07 Beverley) - a winner over C&D last time out, looks open to further improvement from that effort. Burke yard in good form with a 16% SR. Should go very close. Volterra (5:27 Deauville) - will relish the return to softer ground, and was impressive in reappearance this season (in a G3 at Haydock). Should step forward from that run, decent chance. Balmoral Lady (6:02 Deauville) - will also relish the soft ground at Deauville, and has ran to a solid standard this season, when ninth in the G1 sprint at Royal Ascot. Step up to 6f also looks to be no issue. Strong each way chance. Red Tsarina (6:10 Chelmsford) - ran very well on debut to finish second on debut at Kempton. Should step forward also, holds a C2 entry at Windsor next month so is held in decent regard. Should be winning here.
