I genuinely believe that the world as it is right now will not get better anytime soon. People are more divided than ever and a proper discourse is almost impossible to achieve. However, no matter what happens don't stop having a human connection to the people you disagree with.

My mother did the right thing when she pushed both me and my brother to make amends with each other. She most certainly prevented the bad situation from getting worse. Thank you and I'm sorry, ma! I'll make you proud someday.

I hate the fact that when I opened up about how I felt disrespected by my brother, and I explicitly said to not talk about everything I said with anyone because I'm not in the right state of mind to come to terms with him right now. Yet, my wishes are not being respected enough.

I've been struggling to find the balance in my life right now. A lot of things are happening all at once along with several responsibilities in my life. My relationship is suffering because of my incompetence and failure to navigate in my current situation. I'm lost in the echo.

It's been a long time, I don't think I made any progress at all. In fact, I think I'm regressing. I thought I was getting closer to redeeming myself. I thought wrong, I'm getting worse each passing day. I seek to better myself, to be fulfilled. But somehow I feel more empty.

I've lost my way again, I need to get back on track to make myself better. Not just for the sake of myself but for the sake of everyone in my vicinity. They deserve someone who they can depend on. I have no choice other than to be better than I currently am.

I've been beating myself up physically just to clear out the voices in my head. I'm mentally exhausted, I want to take a rest but I don't know if I can. Lately, the voices are becoming louder than they used to be. I'm tired of this, I just want to feel alive again.

There are several things that keep my mind busy all the time. I tend get lost in my thoughts and forget about anything else. This made me come off as overly serious and gloomy that nobody bothers to approach me. I should smile more, someone said, and in fact, she's right.

I know that I'm not yet capable of sustaining a relationship, I still need to work on myself in every way possible. Love is too expensive for me to afford. However, I can't help but envy those people who have someone by their side, especially during these times when I feel blue.

Back then, when my brother graduated from kindergarten, I overheard a child say, "Pag laki ko gusto ko maging tatay," and we all laughed at him. It wasn't until much later in life, when I too began to dream of being a father, that I understood the seriousness of that statement.

I often find myself wondering about a lot of things in life as I continue to walk this path I'm currently on. I'm quite far from my former self yet I still ask myself why I have to be alone in this path. I don't want this feeling. But, maybe this is what I need all along.
