This was a cool scene in Star Wars, but it just makes me wonder why a Death Star was even needed. Do planets have shields to prevent hyperspace collisions? Why even build a Death Star? A small ship impacting at hyperspace would destroy a planet. Hell, a toaster probably would.

The best advice I can give high schoolers is to develop a hobby/side hustle that could become a failsafe. I've sold antique books since I was 19. Both my jobs now revolve around it. I went to school for political science, but the job market is horrible & I had to look elsewhere.
