Most people have NO IDEA how many diseases are circulating at RECORD levels in the US. (Including STIs) It’s breathtakingly bad, but health literacy is very low. The US even reported almost 1000 cases of *dengue* last year. Things are changing rapidly, & we aren’t ready.

In my opinion, it’s unethical for insurance companies to: - decide what medications are best for patients against medical advice - require the patient to only fill their medications in certain pharmacies they can make more money from - automatically reject prior authorizations

I gave fentanyl to patients regularly for at least 15 years. Mostly IV but also patches. Not once did I need to use Narcan on anyone nor myself & nobody OD'd. Illegally manufactured/street Fentanyl is not carefully measured/monitored & that's why it's dangerous
