The most encouraging #AAIC25 results so far: 🔔 The #POINTER study shows improved cognition in both lifestyle intervention groups over 2 years - w/ greater gains in structured group. Lifestyle interventions incl: 🏃‍♀️ Physical activity 🍽️ Diet 🧠 Cognitive + social engagement

Latest at #AAIC2024 @TheLancet Commission on dementia prevention has added 2 new modifiable risk factors: 🫀Cholesterol (LDL) 👁️ Vision loss (untreated) The new list of 14 factors account for 45%* of potentially preventable dementia risk *higher in low/middle income countries
