The focus on the environmental impact of cryptocurrency and NFTs genuinely seems like hysterical propaganda at this point. I genuinely don't understand how people can be this concerned about it without having significantly cut meat from their diets.

NFTs are not ecologically sustainable because ethereum uses blockchain tech which is computationally intensive, sure. This is pretty far removed from the actual problem, however, which is why power is so emissive to generate in the first place, it doesn't have to be
