This is an unfortunate reality. A lot of people have been fooled into buying altcoins all the way down. Many are already putting in new lows. Anytime their altcoin of choice rallies, they will dunk on others, but upon new lows they go quiet or say “buy the dip.”

It’s not a coincidence that the “crypto is dead” narrative took hold at the same time that #BTC dominance broke the range high (49%). Happened last cycle too. People only believe in the altcoin reckoning once they’ve lived through it themselves.

Those shilling you memecoins last week will tell you crypto is dead this week. Crypto certainly has issues to face over the next 12 months, but we should see the asset class explode higher in a couple years (or sooner). Things likely get worse before they get better.

A lot of people are acting like crypto crashing was completely unforeseeable caused by a black swan event. Regulatory risk, lack of liquidity, social metrics going down, etc. have all been things we have talked about ad nauseam for months. These are not black swans.
