We should empower Victorians to fight back against thugs with castle law and pepper spray.

People should be allowed to defend their homes however they see fit. It should be illegal to charge a homeowner for any harm that comes to an intruder. We should be legally allowed to use explosive tipped bullets on home invaders if we want. We should be free to mince their remains and feed it to the pigs. And then watch - home invasions would magically cease to be a problem, like in Brazil when they made it legal to kill robbers. Overnight.

💯 agree David, as do many as you said. If it’s legalised, meaning the crims can have it too, then at least we have some means of some self protection. I truely don’t understand the Australian system where some States do & some States don’t. (Think covid restrictions etc). Violence is violence wherever you are. If the States cared for their citizens, they should legalise.

Add guns to the list, it’s not enough to deter someone with pepper spray. When someone has made the conscious decision to enter someone’s house they most likely have thought the threat of violence would be there. You don’t enter someone’s house without permission with good intentions. The state has failed, the courts are failing us and we’re to rely solely on police. It’s not fair we can’t protect ourselves. It’s not fair we rely solely on the government and the institutions of society. We have the right to protect ourselves in our house either legally or illegally and with the way the state and country are going if we aren’t allowed that right legally more chaos will ensue
