As a "junior" doctor I often have to do all those things with often only one reg and consultant around (usually not physically on the ward). Noone comes to check on me either. I do this daily not just for 5 day strike cover. Despite having multiple degrees that took 9 years...

don’t nap at 7pm expecting to wake up half an hour later with loads of energy, you’ll actually wake up at 2am extremely tired yet not able to fall back asleep perpetuated by the stress of knowing you have work at 8 🥰

Leaving my hair natural instead of straightening it to death for the first time in like 10 months and I kinda hate the curls but maybe I just need exposure therapy to get used to it
