I did take a point from that thread though, as a good portfolio tip, that you can include ideas for future improvements even if that work wasn't feasible irl. (Limiting that ofc to a sampling...nuanced convo about the expectations of design work-outside-work here)

This thread!!! Design solves problems (in early stages, helps find product-market fit) and informs strategy with insights from user research. You absolutely want a product design voice at the strategic level of an org, esp founding teams

California has always oscillated between drought and flood. But we are remarkably bad at catching water when it is overabundant. To become a better sponge we need to flood areas with sandy soils to recharge groundwater. This from Jeffrey Mount is helpful ppic.org/blog/the-promi…
