Tuesday: Brevard's school board denied a motion by John Thomas to reconsider hiring Melissa Calhoun, a former Satellite High teacher ousted for using a student’s chosen name without parental OK. She was cleared by the state in July to return to teaching. floridatoday.com/story/news/edu…
