Had an epiphany today and realised that since 2020 I’ve been in a depressive state alongside my eating disorder and I can’t remember the last time I truly felt at peace with myself.. I’m determined to try and get my life and happiness back now I’m tired of wasting away

Every day is the same cycle of breaking down over the guilt around eating and desperately wanting to give up but that can’t happen. Recovery needs patience I have so much to gain with being well again in time 🤞
Making a cheesy jacket potato with veggies tonight, one of my favourite childhood meals 🥹
Today’s yogurt bowl is cacao powder mixed with frozen cherries and chia pudding and it was stunning 🥹
It may sound silly to some but today I finally brought the 5% fage yogurt instead of 0%. I’m trying to stop giving into my ED and this is a big step for me because it’s taken so long to be able to get to this point, also reminder that fats aren’t the enemy, they’re essential.
Feeling extremely guilty today bc of the ice cream I had last night but I’ve not allowed myself to have it at all over the past few summers so I’m having it tonight again otherwise it’ll never get easier!
