Slaughtering of animal is done by using a sharp knife to cut the throat & the main vessels to the animal’s head, so that the animal feels the least possible pain. It’s done for over 1400 years. Islam is the religion of compassion.

Some think that there is no freedom of speech in islam. There has been no religion in history that gave more room for questioning of what is doubtful than Islam. Islam wouldn’t have gone far and wide without some explanations to some question during the era of the prophet.
