Luigi actually TOOK ACTION but social media is trying to turn him into a trend. Just like how they turned Victims into a trend. You get enough people that don’t care about the cause participating in making it a meme and a “viral moment” then eventually it just dies down.

Social media is also being used as a tool to keep us from taking actual action. For Ex: you see a post about racism or a post about how misogyny sucks. You like it, re-tweet it, talk to people in the comments about it. And that’s it. Nothing else is done to help the said issue.
