Styling within #jetpackcompose is so confusing compared to how React Native handles it. Why are some things within the modifier but others I have to add it to the specific element..

#Kotlin is definitely a learning curve. The use of classes is especially interesting, as it's not something I've used before in javascript.

Tonight I made the most of #git. Spent some time trying to set up a shared folder in my monorepo but I just couldn't get it to work. In the process, I managed to break my mobile app... Git saved me, pulled the working code from github and back to where I was 2hrs ago! #gitHub

Spent the last few hours setting up a #monorepo using workspaces in bun. My first time doing this and it was definitely confusing but I think I might have finally cracked it. All because I wanted a react native app in one folder and my Web scrapers in another

I've been looking into #Kotlin and #jetpackcompose to learn native #Android development. It's definitely different from JS and what I know at the minute. But it is very interesting and I'm looking forward to exploring it more. #MobileDevelopment #appdevelopment

Hello #reactnative folks. Could someone explain to me why this code does not bundle compared to the working version. Is it because in the working version it bundles the path of the first index of the array by default and this is randomised at run time?

Today I learned that #reactnative does not support URLSearchParams. That took an hour or so of my time trying to find out why my Post request worked in Postman but not in my app! But now I know! #LearnInPublic #CodingJourney #Coding #expo

I just spent the evening working my way through the @scrimba #typescript course. It was great to go back to the basics and fill in the gaps in my knowledge! I'm excited to put this to good use in my current project

Reading through the bluesky github has been eye opening. It's fascinating to see how they've built it and it has also answered some questions I've had around reusing components etc. I'm using it as a learning exercise to see how I can better structure my apps #reactnative
