Marc Andreessenās career advice for the AI era:
After all of the hoopla, we end it with a black man getting convicted of the White Slave Traffic Act of 1910 (the Mann Act is still officially known as this) in 2025. Thatās wild and to me shows the problem of prosecutorial discretion and their unchecked power in our democracy.
The precedent has been set: flying someone out across state lines with the hope of sexual acts is a violation of the Mann Act. Do what you will with this information. Itās always been lame af to me, but now itās decidedly illegal.
Just because the establishment and political elites donāt want to acknowledge Larry Hoover as a political prisoner doesnāt invalidate the sentiments of an entire community who believes he is.
I was just informed that there was a fake clemency petition sent to the Governor of Illinois with Larry Hooverās name forged on it. Iāve already had one media outlet contact me about this. No one from my office, nor any other retained attorney by Larry Hoover assisted with this.
