Be careful with the technologies you pick for your product's prototype. 9 times out of 10, the prototype BECOMES the project, so the headaches around those technologies you used for "fast prototyping" end up getting baked in.

We have too much gatekeeping around the idea that great devs MUST code everyday in their free time, or else they're frauds. Let me be so bold as to say, no. You don't need to program excessively to prove you love it. You're a human with other hobbies, and that's GOOD. ❤️

The worst interview question I ever got was: Given you are inside an office, how would you tell what the temperature outside is? You can't use a computer and you don't know/can't look up the temperature inside or outside, and you can't ask anyone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

#JavaScript is super flexible. If you want to extend `Array.prototype` by making your own method, you can. But just because you _can_, doesn't mean _should_. So please don't. 🙂

I work with these embedded systems guys. They think web development is so cool and challenging and wish they could do it. I think embedded systems development is so cool and challenging and wish I had that skill set. The grass is always greener. 😁
