I let go of that, to give me more time to focus on my priorities. Sometimes I cringe at it, that's fine. But it's a small thing that only I will notice.

But the second one, allowing imperfections, has helped me exponentially. I know it sounds silly, but it was even just little things at work. Accidentally write slantedly on a card? Rewrite it. Need to make a line for some reason? Time to break out the tape and make it perfect.

These last few months I've been focusing on two things. 1. Complimenting anyone/anything verbally if I think it. Even if it sounds dumb. 2. Allow imperfections.

Of course I want to be cool and have everyone like me. But so much constantly changes, and to be hung up on the idea of what others think of you is suffocating.
