Really poor performance this by Liverpool’s standards. Been sloppy all second half and have created very little. The state of their first goal has summed up their performance really. They need to be seeing this game out before the bigger challenges ahead.
That half of football from Marmoush has shown exactly what Man City have missed this season. Someone else who is clinical in front of goal when teams try and mark Haaland out of the game. But it’s not just his hat trick, it’s his movement off of Haaland to find the space itself.

Looking at this bench is the reason I can’t agree with anyone who’s completely Ange out. No manager could deal with the injuries he’s had and yet he is still on course to win them their first trophy for 17 years.
Garnacho really doesn’t seem like a Maresca winger if you look at the profiles of Madueke, Neto, Sancho etc. Garnacho at his best is on the counter attack, getting in behind and exposing a high line. Maresca wants possession and needs players who can break down a low block.
