After much tinkering, my netboot.xyz shenanigans have come to an end. Turns out my NIC isn’t supported by iPXE. I’d have expected ChatGPT to flag this blocker early on, but what’s more fun: compiling from source, or having an AI flat-out tell you it can’t be done?

I no longer bother about writing beautiful code. I focus on the logic and getting it "done". Once it works, I feed the code to AI to make it pretty. Just like a formatter.

Sometimes, I think people are using too much AI or not using AI appropriately. They ask AI to rephrase their text and it spits out verbose text, hiding lack of clarity behind bullet points. The structured text surely looks neat, but it decreases the overall productivity.
