I have been stammering since I first spoke - and I wouldn't change it. My mates say it would be weird if I didn't stammer, it's become a part of who they know me to be. In fact, they say they barely notice it. It's okay to #stammer, hey... it makes you different. #ISAD2024

It is #WorldBookDay2024 ... As a child, my stammer was worse than it is now. In part that was why I wrote Let Me Finish, to help people understand it. People still seem to be buying and enjoying it — thank you, whoever you are. Find it here: shorturl.at/mrAZ7

When are banks (@HSBC_UK) going to do more for people with a #stammer when phoning? 'Tell us why you are calling' (er, we can't always... ) the operative then says I am 'cutting out'. Are we really still having to deal with this? It's 2023. #communication

Today I emailed my (wonderful) GP surgery asking them to read @stammer's survey results and improve the experiences of people who stammer. It took 5 minutes to do and STAMMA have even provided a template you can use! (See tweet below). #DontJumpIn #DontBeAKnob

Really proud to share this video for @stammer #ISAD23, and our first project at Calma Films! Support groups and being more open about my stammer has completely changed my relationship with my speech, so this project was very personal to me 😊

Maybe, just maybe journalists et-al modify their word to describe "a 'stuttering' run-up" when players take a penalty or "'stutter'-step" et-al or to describe a whole team's performance as "stuttering"... not just football but athletics, racing horses, business, etc etc... ?
