With my mother, I received the 2024 LGBTQIA+ Advocacy and Leadership Award from @ncte - a rare opportunity international students get to share with their non-English-speaking, multilingual parents. This award is because of my multilingual LGBTQIA+ writers, parents, and ancestors.
