Gemini is so awesome I was following a React Native tutorial where the instructor ran a backend on localhost:5001 and used fetch() from the client (on Mac with Xcode iPhone emulator). It worked perfectly for him. But when I tried the same on Android emulator, it didn’t work

Update: It taught me upto building a CRUD REST API, but then it started hallucinating and changed the codebase in the next steps, which didn’t match the previous code. I had to point it out every time, and it even changed the curriculum we had planned to follow. Giving up on AI

Curious to see how far learning with AI can take me. Can I learn faster and better than following a 40-60hr structured course? Are there any important topics AI might miss that should be covered?

Is it just me or does this feel like Mongoose Model? Even in an Express + TS/JS backend, the code would look kinda similar Backend development feels the same across languages, just different libraries But Spring Boot feels way simpler to me

Self-hosting has taught me so much, from deployment to real-world debugging and networking My portfolio website is also self-hosted with Nginx! Haven’t used many platforms apart from GitHub and Cloudflare or maybe I just haven't built enough projects yet :(

The issue still persists. It seems the IPv4 address changes daily, and during that small time, the bot loses connection to Discord’s servers, which causes it to go offline. I need to find a solution for this.
