IMO @cognition_labs should be recognized, everyone from OpenAI to Cursor is basically copying their "background agent" model. It simply doesn't make sense to trap agents inside an IDE or desktop app. Frontend is nice, but the real game will be played in the backend.

Super excited for this upgrade to Devin's brain. We've had so many *wow* moments since we added 3.7. Especially strong with our new parallelized refactor capabilities (s/o @spdling) many runs where Devin correctly updates 100s of sites throughout the codebase at once 💪

The new Devin is the 1st AI product that feels like a legitimate teammate. I can reliably give it tasks that I’d expect a junior engineer to complete. Assign it a task, walk away, and it gets done. It is *way* better than the old version. A junior dev for $8/hr.
