Big +1 to this thread. I had a visceral reaction to hearing about these proctoring tools and I resolved almost immediately to avoid them at all costs. And guess what? Students are awesome! Most of them want to learn and be challenged. I have had zero issues.

Anyone else get peeved when they do trivia with friends & the “science” questions are all naming random elements from the periodic table and everyone looks at you expectantly like well you’re the chemist?? I know like 20 elements on a good day don’t pin this on me
