Also friends aren’t as vulnerable as romantic partners are to try work on things/get you back. It’s easier to give multiple chances to a person who is actively chasing after you, trying to fix things, trying to communicate and get to the bottom of the issue and buying you “sorry”…

Women have been conditioned to take mistreatment from their friends in the name of sisterhood and when you speak up, you’re often isolated. Women do not like to hear about what they did wrong as a friend.
