We’re about to start my favourite half term. As I only teach sixth form my timetable is reduced by 50% and I get to spend my time redoing all my resources. Feeling grateful I get to work in a school that allows me to do this without being put on cover!

I did a photoshoot with Georgia Rose Hardy for my floristry business. I got to dress up in ball gowns with a bridal bouquet and prance around in the park and this was the outcome. ✨Obsessed ✨

As I only work Monday-Wednesday, this week is a 2 day week 💪🏻 I ummed and ahhed about going part time for years but it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done

Teachers: If your school is damaging your mental health, you have 3 choices: 1) Change yourself; 2) Change the school; 3) Leave. Try one more school - even on supply - before you leave the profession. There are wonderful schools out there.

My new school have a Christmas showcase at the end of term and I was blown away by how talented our students are. One of my y13s played Swan Lake on keyboard and it was so beautiful. What a lovely end to the year 🥰
