@_workchronicles Counter offers doesn't change the work you have, and management start to lose trust with you as you've been disloyal to the business.
@_workchronicles Not true. Sometimes my staff gets better offers I cannot match. I always wish them the best. I am happy they grew in our company and I know some will move to other bigger, higher salary jobs. No need to be salty about it.
@_workchronicles Just take that counter offer and get a better offer from the external guy.
@_workchronicles Hiring budget is always more than the retention budget as long as the resource is critical 🙂
