New digital accessibility guidelines have been published today. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 adds 9 new requirements with the aim of improving accessibility for people with visual, physical, and cognitive disabilities.

PSA! Make sure your actionable items in your mobile app have a proper trait or role. Starting to see #iOS and #Android apps where non native elements are used to create buttons or links. If I’m using assistive technology, I have no clue it has an action. #A11y #Accessibility

Please make this accessible to disabled folks! The image needs alt text. If it's a document you need PDF remediation or at the very least a plain text version available of all the locations etc. #ACCESSIBILITY
