I no longer have the words to describe my sadness as to where we are as a society. The most heartbreaking part is that we all knew this (and unfortunately more to come) were inevitable. Imagine being so indoctrinated that you attack an 82 year old defenseless man in his home.

Watching Lost For Words on @SBS I’ve cried three times none of my friends will be surprised. But words, language & reading and writing give me so much joy and pleasure that I’m so sad that these people have missed out on that until this point in their lives.

I know he didn’t plan it but I’m so glad Steve Irwin fell in love with such a Mama bear as Terri Irwin I don’t know if anyone else could have protected and sheltered her kids so well. Watching Robert be aware of how privileged he is but also how he can protect the vulnerable. 😛

Going through my library of physical books I realise it is 16 years since Slave to Sensation by @NaliniSingh I’m gobsmacked that it’s been that long and that Nalini had been so exuberant in her artistic expression. I can’t imagine anyone trying to do that today.

Went to the theatre last night it did surprise me how many people in the auditorium didn’t wear a mask. Only about a third did even though the average age of patrons to the MTC is over 60. I wore a mask the whole time. Makes me wonder where these educated people get their info?

Reading @seananmcguire latest Toby Daye novel and listening to @tinaarena when she’s singing in French, I’m reading the parts I don’t understand how they fit. I trust this author to bring it all together either in this novel or one down the line.

Eating leftover satay chicken and can’t remember if I added the chilli to the sauce. Five minutes later my nose starts to run and my eyes water a tiny bit. Yup I added the chilli. Not a lot I’m just that white that anything hot causes this reaction.
