People underestimate taste and distribution in tech. End users don't care about your token optimizer's efficiency or whether your backend is a wrapper - they want their job done well. You have to tie back engineering to taste. And without distribution, none of this matters.

Context engineering isn't just for AI. It's a life framework. If you can’t cut the noise and focus on the right context, your decisions won’t be optimal. You need guiding principles to use the context. And if you don't constantly learn, you don't stay the same - you get worse.

In other words, there's leverage and value in uniquely, and usefully working with the machine. If you do things to fit in, you risk being imitated, and potentially replaced. Deviate from the algorithm. There's no better time to be original than now. You'll be rewarded for it.

As a consequence of outsourcing writing to AI, @paulg predicted a future with people who can write and people who cannot. I do not fully understand this future. But I do know that to write well is to think clearly. And clear, systemic thought will be an expensive currency.

Day 31 of #100DaysOfCode Added Error handling to the lodget-web-app. Also desgined the error template while validating data at both client and server side. Server side validation is done using an external library called Joi. It's a joy to use it. Error stack for dev phase.

Day 27 of #100DaysOfCode Populated the lodget-web-app database by using some sample data generated by ChatGPT. Worked on the CRUD routes for the app. Gained some amazing new insights while doing #DSAWithKunal - Binary Search.

Day 26 of #100DaysOfCode Coming back for consistency. Worked on a RESTful API for a Products database. Pushed on Github. Continued working on the project, calling it "Lodget", a web-app to turn homes to short-term rental stays. Will be updating it entirely on Github.

Day 25 of #100DaysOfCode Learnt about Node's Callback Queues and the phases of the Event Loop. Learnt about the Event Emitter in Node and took an intro to solidify my understanding of Async Javascript. Started working on a new project with some inspiration from Colt Steele.
