Jesus' words in Matthew 18:8-9 are harsh but fiery truth. He doesn't say "…if thy hand offends PRAY about it…" — he says make PHYSICAL changes in our lives to stop sinning. So, if we drop the tools —phone, computer, TV, etc— the Holy Spirit smashes sin like a mountain on fire.
