I can see a world where, my favorite sports of MMA and soccer, are no longer plagued by human error. I’m mean, shit, it’s almost like in every game or every fight a referee or a judge makes a mistake. It’s ok. I get it. We’re all humans. Hell, I make mistakes all the damn time. But we gots AI now, baby. We gots the answer. So how about this? We train AI with a unified set of rules and show it all the televised games and fights since television was invented. Then, we set parameters that all sanctioning bodies agree on and train the AI on them too. After that, we get real smart people to engineer the field or octagon or ring with sensors and whatever’s necessary to quantify and track all necessary data. At the end, we let the machines judge and referee matches and fights based on parameters set by us so that they can follow them to a T. Without mistakes. No room for error. Am I far off or what?
@adnerd3000 Sounds a lot like Chess bots who, when they play perfectly, end the game in a draw Maybe, it would be the same thing since they are technically making a pattern of movements that lead toward a specific outcome It's just in a different context Super interesting stuff 🤖🤔
