When I gave talks about "hostile design" at my last job, which included hidden support escalation paths and neuroaccessibility issues that rarely were considered. So ethical developer for me means advocating against hostile design went we see it start to happen.

Refrain from any ADHD Coach out there who’s telling you some bullshit like “you need to be consistent to be successful”. Nothing tells me more that they are clueless as far as what it takes for someone with an ADHD brain to succeed and just how different we are.

TMW you walk into a branding meeting expecting to be a minor player, and turn into the person running the entire effort. Being a tech writer/content strategist certainly opens some really interesting doors I never expect to see.
