Back to the tents again… I hate them and refuse to get used to them. They protect neither from the scorching sun nor the freezing nights. In the early morning, the tent turns into an oven — its heat burns everyone inside.

Displacement is unbearably costly. 🚚 A medium truck from Gaza City to Khan Younis: 2,000 NIS ($320) 🚽 Building a simple toilet: 1,200 NIS (~$320) ⛺ A tent that barely shields from the burning sun yet feels like an oven: 2,500 NIS (~$660).

Each time we try to settle in one place, eviction orders, rocket fire, and advancing military vehicles chase us away. This is our tenth displacement since the war began. I pray it will be the last — and if there must be another, let it be to heaven.
