Check out this Bug Cloud! The @UMBS Field Studies of Insects class went sampling at night with lights to learn about different collection techniques and insect taxonomy. The big moth is an elm sphinx, Ceratomia amyntor. The big beetle is a goldsmith beetle, Cotalpa lanigera.
