.@AbroadInJapan Sendai Ikuei just won the 2022 Koshien. This is the first time a school from Tohoku have won. Perhaps this would be an opportunity to talk about high school baseball culture in Japan, and just what a big deal the Koshien is?

Pretty important explanation how Princeton was able to increase their graduate stipends. Instead of passing down the costs to PIs/depts, they actually did the right thing and eliminated graduate tuition making the total cost of a PhD researcher actually cheaper.
